Episode 126: The Green Reflectors are both brothers and bandmates. Together they share a stage of surf rock, jump splits and too many inside jokes to keep up with!

Kyle and Aaron, brothers from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, create instrumental music that's impossible to ignore, blending surf rock influences with a stage presence marked by matching outfits and dance moves that seem impossible for anyone over 19 years old. True creative engineers, they also build and race Soapbox derby cars like the champions they are. After honing her craft in New York City, both on Broadway and in film, she made her way to Hollywood to pursue her dreams with unwavering determination. Episode 123: Justin Huston and Kristen Morse Allow Each Other to Truly be Themselves. Through Their Authentic Support for One Another, a Beautiful Band Called "No-K" Was Born.

Halifax-based power couple Justin Huston and Kristen Morse, both American-born, discovered a common love for Nova Scotia, music, and each other. Justin serves as the Deputy Minister of the Department of the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage, while Kristen co-owns the iconic, open, and relaxed Nordic spa "Nature Folk." Their relationship blossomed through GarageBand (swear to God) during the pandemic while they were living on opposite sides of the world. Their shared love of music led them to co-write songs, swap favorite tunes, and eventually fall in love. They recently released their first full-length album under the band name "No-K," which is packed with sweet, authentic lyrics and melodies. Justin and Kristen are true examples of genuine artistic expression and ardent supporters of the creative industries in Nova Scotia and beyond. We share laughs, discussions on the arts landscape in Nova Scotia and how women in the music industry face different challenges than their male counterparts.
